Obituary for Marshall William Beach

Marshall William Beach, 60, of Chesapeake, VA, passed on April 17, 2020 after a fierce but faithful battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on September 3, 1959 to late Marshall R. Beach and Pauline O. Rapp-Hannah. Marshall attended Oscar Smith High School with the graduating class of 1977. He shared his love for the game of baseball and was a cadet in ROTC. Marshall was a dedicated worker, faithful Christian and loving father of four.

Left to cherish his memory is his sons, Zackary M. Beach of Greenville, SC, Brandon W. Beach of Greenville, SC and Derrick Carpinelli of Virginia Beach, VA; daughter, Brittany N. Beach-Poole and husband David L. Poole, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren Raylynn G. Poole and Levi L. Poole; sisters Anita Beach-Holmes of Chesapeake, VA and Bonnie Beach of Madison, Wisconsin; and loving partner and caregivers Nancy Hoyt-Farr and Shaun Farr of Chesapeake, VA.

To adhere to CDC guidelines for social distancing, there will be no formal visitation. Marshall’s wish was to be cremated and due to these unprecedented and challenging times there will not be a service, but rather a celebration of his life on his birthday, September 3, 2020. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to raise awareness. This can be done at www.pancan.org
