Maria “Mercy” Mercedes Stephens, 72, passed away December 2, 2018. Mercy was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico to the late Rafael Irizarry and Maria Mercedes Torres. She loved to travel and spend time with friends especially playing Mexican Dominoes and Bunco. She was an active participant in the Divine Mercy prayer group of St. Mark. She attended Church of the Ascension.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence “Larry” Stephens. Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Zulma I. Spatz; her brother-in-law Stuart Spatz; niece, Valerie Lamberton and her husband David Lamberton; step-children Laurie and Larry Stephens; and a host of other family and friends.
