Margaret S. “Peggy” Dennison passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the age 66 after a long battle with congestive heart failure. Peggy leaves behind her cherished pets: Blade, Bailey and Violet; sister, Lynn Klinger (Karl); nephews, Zach (Jessica) and Wil (Alli); niece, Esther (Ryan); great niece, Adeline, and two great nephews, Dasher and Ethan, as well as an enormous friend family. She was predeceased by her parents, HB and Margaret Dennison and spouse, Mary Jane Atherton.
After graduating from James Madison University, Peggy pursued a career in dental/medical billing. Her true passions, however, were storytelling, dancing and creating beautiful costumes for people she loved. Peggy will be forever remembered for her creativity and endless desire to help others.
A celebration of Peggy's life will be held on June 17, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake with a reception to follow.
