VIRGINIA BEACH- Mamie Erlene Wilkins, 93, passed away September 4, 2019. She was born in Suffolk, VA to the late Wallace and Sally Doughtie Goodrich. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James A. Wilkins who passed in 1987. Mamie was a loving, dedicated mother and grandmother who would do anything needed to provide for those she loved. She loved to read her bible and was the last member of the Church of the Foundation in Virginia Beach and was their bookkeeper for many years. Mamie also worked for many years at Hertz in London Bridge as their bookkeeper. She enjoyed camping in the Virginia Mountains, and she loved to shop.

Left to cherish her memory is her sons, James A. Wilkins, Jr (Sandra) and Mike Wilkins (Kathleen); daughter, Sally Hicks; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and other loving family and friends.
