Our beloved mother, Luciana Augusta Ferrero, 76 peacefully passed away on Thursday June 29, 2023. Luciana was born and raised in Torino, Italy, but her life took her around the world, living in Africa, Canada and eventually settling in the United States. She enjoyed delving into the different cultures and exposing and educating her children about them. She encouraged getting to know local customs and ways of life in every country and city she lived in. Luciana was a talented linguist speaking Italian, French, and English, which she utilized working for international corporations, including Fiat and Ferruzzi USA.

Luciana enjoyed the art of gold leafing, Japanese flower arranging, and gardening. She admired and collected African art and had an extensive exotic seashell collection from all over the world. She enjoyed going to museums, reading, and attending socials. She was an avid churchgoer and loved helping and praying for others. She also served as a treasurer for the Resident Council of Marion Manor in Va Beach, where she lived for many years.

She is predeceased by her parents, Angelo Ferrero and Consolata Schenone. She is survived by her three daughters: Cristina Ruschena of Torino Italy, Emanuela Swink of Myrtle Beach, SC and Raffaella Miller of Chesapeake, Virginia, and her sister Maria Luisa Ferrero Felisaz and her niece Ariella Felisaz Palarchio of Torino Italy.
Luciana always looked forward to family gatherings, holidays, and especially spending time with her grandchildren Maxwell, Alexander, Marshall, Milana, and Leonardo.
