Obituary for Linda Faye Reynolds
Linda Hinton Reynolds, 79, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on February 5, 2023, surrounded by her family who loved her dearly. Linda was born in Smithfield, North Carolina to the late Ernest and Mattie Hinton. She was predeceased by her sister, Alice Rose Hinton.
Linda graduated from Great Bridge High School in 1962 and enjoyed a 55 year career as a hairdresser. She loved her family and friends and never met a stranger. Her happiest times were spent with her family, her cats and feeding the wildlife that came to her waterfront home. Linda loved to decorate and enjoyed antiquing and gardening which was evident by the beautiful flowers surrounding her home.
Left to cherish her memory are her high school sweetheart and husband of 60 years, Charles; son, Kerry Reynolds (Mellie) of Virginia Beach; brother, Ernest "Sonny" Hinton (Mary) of Chesapeake; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2023, at Primative Baptist Church, South 1st Street, Smithfield, NC 27577.
