Obituary for Linda Jo Parker
Linda Jo Parker , 65, passed away peacefully October 27, 2022. Linda was born in West Virginia to her father, the late Joe Brown and mother Margaret Smith; also surviving her is her husband, John Parker; daughter, Rachal Nelson, grandson, Zachary Nelson; step-mom, Barbara Brown; brothers, Robert Brown and Christopher Riley; sisters, Lojean and Donna Way; step sister, Traci Bradley and several nieces and nephews.
She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked as a volunteer EMT. Linda loved her dogs, crafts, visiting the mountains and loved antiquing, and most of all spending time with her family.
The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held Monday, November 7, 2022 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Colonial Grove Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers the family requests potted plants that can be cared for in her honor at the family residence representing all those Linda loved and those who loved her.
