Linda Jane Campbell, 76, passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2021. She was born in Virginia to the late Freed and Julia Christy Long. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Bruce Campbell. Linda was a hairdresser for many years, then she worked for a printing company, and lastly with Chesapeake Public Schools in the cafeteria. She loved spending time with family and friends, cooking, reading, playing bingo, and the beach. Linda was a member of Southside Baptist Church and enjoyed watching and listening to the southern gospel group, The Gaither Vocal Band.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael Campbell, Anthony Watters (Denise), and Tim Watters (Cheryl); grandchildren, Olivia and Emily Watters; siblings, Betty Barrett (Herman), Hoyt Long (Ninetta), and Britt Long (Brenda); special nieces, Andrea Myers and Christy Adams; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 1 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 1p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Reilly officiating.
