Obituary for Kirby Peebles (Smith)
Kirby Peebles, 74, succumbed to her fight with inoperable, terminal lung and brain cancer Nov 5, 2019. This transition was just one week after an ER visit for what was thought to be Bronchitis and turned into an absolute nuclear bomb. She is finally no longer in pain or suffering and died peacefully and painlessly, surrounded by genuine, compassionate, loving friends and her only child, Ellen Peebles when she took her last breath.
Kirby loved cooking and was the definition of a homemaker, caretaking for her husband for many years. She adored nature and animals, but especially dogs. She was a selfless, compassionate and loving a mother who fought for her family. Her daughter remembers fondly going to horse shows with her mother, and quoted her as "my best friend and biggest supporter".
Ellen sacrificed and gave up 13 years of her life, including her career in real estate, to become Mom's sole caretaker. It is now time for Ellen to grow and heal, and anyone who knew Kirby through the community or professionally knew that she would want Ellen to be successful in every endeavor she chooses to pursue.
