Obituary for Kenneth Hadden "Kenny" Louk

Kenneth Hadden Louk, 92 was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 where he joined his wife of nearly 70 years, Anna Lee. He was born on Feb 23, 1926 to Frank Campion and Lucy Pudder Louk in Randolph County, West Virginia, the 6th of 10 children.
Kenneth graduated from Tygart Valley High School, in Huttonsville, WV in 1943 and joined the United States Navy. He served his country honorably during WWII and settled in Norfolk, Virginia after discharge. On July 29, 1948, in Norfolk, he married Anna Lee Weese, the love of his life, who preceded him in death just before three weeks before their 70th wedding anniversary. Kenneth began working at the Ford Motor Company Truck plant in Norfolk and was retired after 32 years with the company. He was an avid hunter in his younger days and was a member of several hunt clubs throughout his life, including Black Cat, in Suffolk

Kenneth, guided by his strong Christian faith, served in a variety of volunteer positions for Faith Baptist Church in Norfolk, and helped establish and run Faith Bible Camp in Moyock, NC. He and his wife Anna, also faithfully supported many church missionaries throughout their lives so that others might be lead to the Lord. He was most recently a member of Colonial Baptist Church.

Kenneth is survived by two sons; K. Louk (Cathy) of Norfolk, VA and Douglas Keith Louk (Mary) of High Point, NC. He is also survived by four grandchildren; Christopher Louk (Rachael) of Winter Garden, FL, Brandon Louk ( Sheila) of Woodside, NY, Hadden Louk (Whitney) of Norfolk, VA, and Erin Louk Dennis (Kevin) of Johnson City, TN, and three great-grandchildren; Gwendolyn Dennis of Johnson City, TN, Sosie Louk of Norfolk, and Brannon Louk Dennis of Johnson City, TN. Kenneth is also survived by three sisters; Alice Louk Howell of Elkins, WV, Ina Louk Gear of Huttonsville, WV, Shirley Louk Riegel of Maryland and one brother; Blair (Patty) Louk of Huttonsville, WV.

He will be laid to rest in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Services will be private. In lieu of cards and flowers, please make a donation in Kenny’s name to Colonial Baptist Church or Virginia Beach Theological Seminary.
