Obituary for June Marie Stierwalt (Compton)
On December 16, 2019, June Stierwalt, loving wife and mother of two children went to be with the Lord at the age of 79. She was born on July 9, 1940 in Clinchfield, Virginia to Dewey and Bessie Compton. On January 1, 1961 June married James R. Stierwalt and moved to Middletown, Indiana where they raised two children, Debbie and Kenner. She was employed by RCA and GM and she ended her career in property management.
June had a passion for gardening and always had spectacular flower beds. She also enjoyed oil painting and antiquing. June was known for her strong morals, values and hard work ethics.
June was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Bessie Compton. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, James R. Stierwalt; her two children, Debbie and Kenner; two grandchildren, Deena and David and three great-grandchildren, Erik, Zoe and Hayden. She will be deeply missed.
