Obituary for John Edward Walker
John Edward Walker 60, of Chesapeake VA passed away March 12, 2023. John was born December 26, 1962. The son of the late Thomas and Gladys Walker. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers Nathan Walker and Robert Walker.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family, sister, Elizabeth Walker; brother, Thomas Walker, Jr. and sister-in-law, Kim Walker. John will also be missed by his loving church family, and by his numerous friends all over South Norfolk.
John graduated from Oscar Smith High School in 1982. In high school he worked in the cafeteria. John worked for Roses department store for 20 years. He had a heart of gold. He enjoyed watching the Three Stooges and the Dallas Cowboys.
As a member of Blessed Hope Chapel, he was a devoted church attendee and would get upset if he couldn''t go. Pain and sickness didn''t stop him from going to church. There was a place in heaven truly meant for him.
