Obituary for John Robert Jasinowski

John Robert "Bob" Jasinowski passed away on April 10, 2022 at the age of 88. He was born on April 13, 1933 in Washington, DC.

Early in Bob’s life he met his wife, Gloria in Washington, DC while she was a United Airlines flight attendant. He served in the army during the Korean War. After serving in the army, he received his Master’s in Justice Administration from Golden Gate State University while working for the Virginia State Police for over 44 years. Once retired, he was busy volunteering as the President of Blackwater Rescue Squad, Pungo Ruritan Club and zooming around town with the Porsche club. Bob was a member of Virginia State Police Association, a member of the First Settlers' Porsche Club of America, and a founding member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Virginia Beach. However, his pride and joy was being a loving and caring father and grandfather.

Bob was predeceased by his parents John and Agnes, sister Betty Jean, and wife Gloria. He leaves behind his four children Charlie, Thomas, Jeanne (Greg), and Doris. He was also the proud grandfather of four grandchildren Alexandra (Kevin), Devra (Brent), Tyler, and Peyton (Nick). He also had an affection for his dogs Honie, Georgie, and Shelby.

A funeral service will be held at St John’s the Apostle Catholic Church, 1968 Sandbridge Road, Virginia Beach on Thursday, April 21st at 10:00 a.m. Make online condolences to Graham Funeral Home at www.grahamfuneralhome.com.
