John R. Boldin, 91, went to be with the Lord November 26, 2021. John was born in Virginia to the late Walter and Blanche Boldin. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife of 49 years, Betty Starks Boldin; sister, Madeline Gardiner; brothers, Max Boldin, Ernest Boldin, Jack Boldin, and Hal Boldin. For many years, John was a faithful servant of our Lord and an involved member of Elizabeth River Baptist Chuch.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving daughter, Andrea Boldin Foster (Kevin); grandchildren, Jack, Madeline, and Jane-Anne; brother, Harold Boldin (Phoebe); sister, Judy Cox; sister-in-law, Rachel Boldin; and a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Avalon Hills Bible Church, with Dr. Dave Rieke and Dr. Charles "Chuck" Starks officiating, following a private family burial.
