John Phillip Baker, 71, of Cogliandro Drive passed away December 31, 2020. John was the son of the late John T. Baker and Ora Lee Pridgen-Britt. He was the loving husband of 41 years to the late Frances Lottie Baker. He retired from Walmart as a Butcher and was a faithful member of Bible World Apostolic Church, Chesapeake.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly L. Etheridge and her husband, William; grandchildren, Roberto D. Goggin, Jr., Brian T. Vincent, and Krista L. Smith and her husband, Christopher; great grandchildren, Elijah Smyth, Savannah Goggin, Lotus Vincent and Christian And Kynleigh Smith; and his two sisters, Angie LaPoint and Phyllis Baker.
Viewing is limited to ten guests at a time due to COVID restrictions, you may visit on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 11 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Princess Anne Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Temperature checks and mask are required to enter the building, seating is limited for the service.
