Obituary for Jettie Harrold Privott
Jettie Harrold Privott, 80, passed away May 28, 2022. Jettie was born in Hays, North Carolina to the late Edward and Pearl Harrold. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dwight H. Privott. Jettie was a nurse at CHKD for over 33 years and an active member of the Women of the Moose Lodge #947.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 57 years, Richard E. Privott; sons, Dwayne E. Privott (Denna) and Billy Lee Privott (Misty); 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Ellen Johnson and Margie Childress; and a host of other family and friends. The family would like give a special thanks to Sentara Hospice for their dedication and care.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 1 p.m. at the South Norfolk Moose Lodge, 2000 Campostella Road, Chesapeake.
