Jessie Mae Casper, 84, passed away May 3, 2021. Jessie was born in Back Bay, Virginia to the late Cedric and Lora "Mae" Adams Curry. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband, James "Richard" Casper and sister, Nancy Hudson. Jessie served her community while working in the cafeteria in the Chesapeake Public Schools. She was a longtime and active member of Rivercrest Christian Fellowship.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving daughter, Reba Ackiss (Guy); grandsons, John Ackiss (Danielle) and Allen Ackiss (Cindy); 10 great grandchildren; sister, Doris Hobbs (Johnny) and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Rivercrest Christian Fellowship, 1510 Campostella Road, Chesapeake, on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 6-7 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will begin at 7 p.m. with with Rev.
