Jerry Benjamin White, 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 12, 2022. He was born locally in Norfolk, VA to the late Melvin L. and Lucy V. Garner White and was a 1966 graduate of Oscar Smith High School. Jerry completed his Bachelors degree from Old Dominion University Class of 1970 and retired as a Certified Public Accountant. He was a member of the South Norfolk Ruritan Club.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved sisters, Kay W. Harrell and her husband Wilbert, Junie W. Koonce and her husband Calvin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and dear friends.
The family is inviting friends to pay respects on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 10am at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kemspville Rd. Chesapeake. A celebration of his life will begin promptly at 11am at the funeral home. He will be privately laid to rest in Rosewood Memorial Park.
