Jeannette Floyd ,90, passed away May 16, 2022. Jeannette was born in Norfolk, Virginia on August 28, 1931 and a graduate of South Norfolk High School. She was a longtime member of South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church and an avid bowler for many years in Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Richmond.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Davie L. Floyd, Sr.; parents, Grover and Etta White; brother, Russel White; sisters, Carol Barkley and Sandra Moore. She is survived by her children, Dave Floyd, Jr. (Cindy) of Kill Devil Hills, NC, Steve Floyd of Virginia Beach, VA, and Brenda Garrett of Henrico, VA; grandchildren, Robert Stetler, Steven Floyd (Melissa), Tyler Floyd (Emily), and Andrew Floyd; great grandsons, Jacob Lindsay, Caleb Eastvold, Conner Stetler, and Justice Floyd; great granddaughter, Serenity Floyd; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held Friday, May 20, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Riverside Memorial Park, 1000 E.
