Dear Joyce and family,
Who could ever forget that captivating grin?? As Joyce knows, I called JD one of my boyfriends, having known him for many years as a friend and patient. Always asking about my family- even when going through some of his own physical discomfort. Always smiling. He would wander back to my office (when no one else could) just to see how I was doing. He will be so missed as he was loved by so many, including me; but I know he is whole, with our Lord, and grinning down on us. JoAnn Ellington

Knowing family history is a carry on as to who you are and JD told the best family stories. I could listen for hours. I had the blessing of having JD, David and Jerry all together for a few days and watch them interact for the last time on this earth. Now having their reunion with Holly and other loved ones who are sending their joy and love to us. My heart is with you Joyce and all of the family he loved so much. I know you are all a refuge for each other; embracing with healing hugs and hearts. Remember to share old stories and make new memories and tell them to the little ones like JD loved to do. God Bless and hold you all in your time or grief. Love you big brother. Terry
