In Loving Memory of Janis Marie “Mumsy” “Nana” Laudahn
Janis passed away on August 23rd, 2022 in the comfort of her home, with her loving family by her side.
Janis Marie Laudahn was born in Dayton, Ohio and worked for General Motors for over 32 years. She enjoyed many things, but her most loved and cherished pastime was to watch her daughter, Chris and granddaughters, Nicole and Danielle, participate in various sports activities. No-one would disagree that she was their #1 fan and by far the most enthusiastic…NANA “The Woman, the Myth, the Legend”.
Janis is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ruby Baumgardner; her brother, William Sagowitx, her nephew, Mark Sagowitz and her beloved dog Ginger.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving daughter Christine Pratt and the son-in-law she adored, Paul Pratt. Also surviving her are beloved granddaughters Nicole Marie and Danielle Elizabeth Pratt; her faithful niece Jill Boe, and many loyal friends.
The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Rd., Chesapeake, VA, on Saturday, August 27th 2022 from 4-5pm.
