Obituary for Jane Fancher
Mary Jane Fancher, 95, passed away May 9, 2022. Jane was born in Birmingham, Alabama on September 27, 1926 to the late Thomas and Cola Pearson Nation. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband, Lonnie Lee Fancher and her beloved sister, Margaret Sims.
Left to cherish her memory is her adored sister, Betty Campbell; daughters, Yvonne Janney (Larry) and Debbie Matthews (Tom); son, Lonnie "Buster" Fancher (Amy); 8 grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at the home of Jason Young, 524 Prentiss Drive, Chesapeake on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Larry Adams officiating. She will be privately laid to rest beside her husband at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk.
