Jane Louise Caler, 71, of Chesapeake, went to be with Christ on Sunday, January 31, 2021. Her family was with her during her final days with love and comfort.
She is survived by her husband, Don Caler; her sons, Jeffrey Trexler and Terry Trexler; her daughter, Cathi Dickerson; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Jane loved to give, and she was always trying to make someone''s life better. She worked tirelessly and creatively to help her children, her grandchildren, and even her great grandchildren to do well and experience joy. She was a blessing to many.
Besides being a loving mother, Jane also worked for many years as a realtor.
Jane has church family at Fairview Church of Christ on Tatemstown Road, and more recently she has been attending Moyock United Methodist Church, Moyock, North Carolina.
There will be a viewing and opportunity to pay respects before the service, from 10 AM to 11 AM. A funeral for Jane will be held at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Rd, Chesapeake on Friday, February 5 at 11 AM. Due to COVID restrictions visiting and seating for the service is limited; temperature checks and masks will be required to enter building. She will be laid to rest at Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. The family will remain following the service to receive friends.
