Obituary for Jan Gee Bedogne
Jan Gee Bedogne of Chesapeake, VA, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at the age of 78 on Monday, May 3, 2021. Jan was born in Monongahela, PA to Samuel and Janet Bedogne. Throughout his life, Jan was known as a man of integrity, a devoted and faithful husband, and a loyal father.
Having grown up in New Eagle, PA, Jan started his career as a high school business teacher, then transitioned into a life occupation in accounting and business administration. Among other roles throughout his career, Jan served in numerous positions at CBN for 12 years where he met his wife Lucinda. Before retiring in 2020, he worked for the past 16 years at Parroco, Inc. where he experienced many impactful relationships.
He is survived by his wife, Lucinda, of 41 years; his son Jason, wife Melanie, and their four daughters, Sherilan, Makenna, Emmelia, and Daniela; and his daughter Jessica, husband Jeremy, and their two children, Knox and Teigan.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Kempsville Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach, with a visitation immediately preceding the service at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Jan's memory to Union Mission Ministries in Norfolk, VA.
