Hope L. Walters, 90, passed away November 13, 2018. Hope was born in San Diego, California to the late Joe and Inez Weir Phillips. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Walters. She devoted her life to serving the Lord as an ordained minister for nearly 70 years. Hope served as an elderly companion and caregiver and was especially proud of being a part of the prayer ministry at CBN. Her most precious ministry was to her children.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Helen Voorhees and Stephen Walters; grandchildren, Logan Voorhees, Amanda, Andrew, and Alanna Walters; special niece, Pam Wilson; beloved golden retriever, Katie; and a host of other family and friends.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Riverside Memorial Park, 1000 E Indian River Rd, Norfolk with Pastor Brad Shedd officiating. Please visit www.grahamfuneralhome.com leave a condolence to the family.
