Holland "Hollie" Nicewander Hobbs, 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 4, 2022, surrounded by her family. A lifetime of memories are overwhelming us, as she was a wonderful mother, wife, the best Meme, and an amazing friend to so many. Hollie was born in Virginia to the late Holland and Anna Jones Nicewander. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Tillman Coffield, Terry Nicewander, and Mark Nicewander.

Hollie's passion was hair styling, and she was a hairdresser for many years. She cleaned new construction homes and was also a cook for the Chesapeake school system. Her life wasn't all work and no play. She loved the outdoors, whether it was camping, fishing, crabbing or taking trips to the beach. She was also known for her artistic talent and making various ceramics. She loved to laugh, have fun and spend time with her family, grandchildren, friends, and anyone she was around. We will truly miss her.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Harry A. Hobbs; daughters, Tracie Hobbs Cullen (Keith) and Dawn Hobbs Schneider (Luke); grandchildren, Dale, K.C., Rachael, Skylar, Faith, Allison, and Matthew; brothers, Tommy Coffield, Jr. and Mac Nicewander; and a host of other family and friends.
