Harlan Delano Hott, 85, passed away on July 14, 2019. He was born in Baker, West Virginia to the late Donald and Edna Hott. Harlan enjoyed playing golf and wood turning. He was a member of the Woodturners of the Virginias, and the American Association of Woodturners. He served his country faithfully in the US Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion and VFW.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Joan S Hott; his three daughters, Cynthia Hott Inman and her husband Jeff, Nancy Hott Terrell and her husband John, Lori Hott Anderson and her husband Brent; two sons, Robert Wendall Hott and his wife Wanda, Michael Delano Hott and his wife Kim. He leaves behind 13 grandchildren; Rob, Courtney, Jeffrey, Corey, Zach, Amber, Leah, Cody, Johnny, Jake, Taylor, Morgan and Kendall; and his five great-grandchildren; Cooper, Carson, Cedar, Olivia and Addie; siblings in West Virginia, George Hott, Wendell Hott,Warden Hott, Jean Halterman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sisters, Nola Clark an Marguerite Harper. Graham Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. A funeral service will be held at Fraley Funeral Home in Harlan’s hometown of Moorefield, West Virginia on Saturday, July 20th. Local visitation will be held at Bethany United Methodist Church on Todd’s Lane in Hampton on Sunday, July 21 from 2:00-4:00.
