Obituary for Glenn Andrew Arrasate

Glenn Andrew Arrasate, 53, passed away December 10, 2022. Glenn was born in Southampton, New York to the late James, Sr. and Nancy Brown Arrasate. He worked as a Team Leader Building Inspector with the city of Norfolk. Glenn loved the outdoors, walking, and hiking. He had also recently pursued his interest in painting inspired by his love of Bob Ross. After retirement, Glenn had hoped to explore the world on boat and walking trails across Europe and the UK with his loving wife of 34 years.He loved his family and was deeply proud of his ladies and all that they accomplished. Glenn had an eye for detail and a love for knowledge, he loved to read and study about everything! People were drawn into conversation with him about his various interests and his knowledge on seemingly all topics. He enjoyed the time he spent with his family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Christine Arrasate; daughters, Madeline Arrasate (Jordan Mimms) and Victoria Arrasate; brothers, James Arrasate, Jr. (Dawn) and Stephen Arrasate (Kaitlin); mother and father-in-law, Paul and Pauline McNamee; sister-in-law, Brenda Diggs; brother-in-law, Brian McNamee; and a host of cherished family and friends.
