Laura "Geneva" Yarbrough Pace, 94, entered the presence of the Lord on July 18, 2022. Geneva was born in Georgia, the second of eight children, to the late E.W. and Janie Yarbrough. She was predeceased by her husband, Reverend Glenn Pace and daughter, Glenda Pace.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Robyn Brann (Forrest); son, Jon Pace (Dana); grandchildren, Nathanael and Ellie Brann, and Virginia and Edie Pace; siblings, Al Yarbrough (Laraine) and Betty Pace; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She lived a life of service, helping establish churches and supporting the ministry as a pastor's wife, lovingly caring for her family, and working as an advocate in local schools for children, earning the lifetime PTA award.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake from 6 -8 pm. A graveside service will take place in Oakwood Cemetery, 3101 9 Mile Road, Richmond, Virginia on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 11:00 am.
