Obituary for Gabrielle Bartolome "Bebang" Abalos

Gabrielle “Bebang” Bartolome Abalos, 24, left with the lord on May 7, 2022. Gabrielle was born in Portsmouth, Virginia to Estela B. Abalos and her late father Gabriel A.C. Abalos. Gabrielle was soft-spoken, shy, and easy going. She loved to make people laugh and was kind to others, while always being very respectful to her elders. As a child, she loved the Jonas Brothers and Justin Bieber (even until her twenties). Gabrielle graduated from Oscar Smith High School in 2016, then went to TCC for 2 years, and then started online VCU classes for spring 2022 in hopes to obtain a bachelor of science degree in Exercise Science. When she was younger she played soccer as a goalie. She also enjoyed playing card games, such as UNO and Tong-its with family. Gabrielle enjoyed traveling and hiking. For breakfast, she loved to make fruit shakes and spicy/pickled foods (such as Samyang), which were her go-to foods no matter what time of day it was. She loved playing basketball, badminton, playing video games, playing with the family dogs, and watching television/sports with her brother. Gabrielle loved cooking and baking with her mom. Left to cherish her memory are her loving mother, Ella B. Abalos; brother, Kyle Anthony (Kyle) B. Abalos; aunt, Minda Magoay; uncles, Bong Abalos, Jerry Bartolome, Noli Magoay, and the late Ambo; cousins, Dally Bartolome, Mark Bartolome; her faithful canine critters, Angel and Princess; and a host of other family and friends from all around the world.
