Fred had a passion for retaining knowledge and schooling everyone in trivia and Jeopardy, where his siblings often fought to have him on their team. He enjoyed music, playing guitar, and telling jokes as a favorite pastime of his. Fred relished in simpleness and solitude and was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and compassionate spirit. Fred will always be remembered as a "gentle giant" and was loyal to and protective of those he loved. Fred was a loving father, kindhearted son, an amazing brother, playful uncle and caring friend. He was welcomed at Heaven's gate by his nephew Callen, grandparents, aunts and uncles that have gone before him.
