Frank V. Sieloff, Jr. of Chesapeake, VA, left this earthly life to be with the Lord March 17, 2021 at the age of 70. Frank succumbed to complications following emergency surgery at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, Chesapeake, VA. He was born in Norfolk, VA, February 6, 1951, to the late Frank V. Sieloff, Sr. and Elizabeth Howell Jones.
Frank served our country first in the Army, and met his wife Cynthia (Cindy) M. Kibler while stationed at Fort Riley, KS. On August 18, 1973, they were married and soon moved to Germany, while Frank completed his overseas duty. Upon returning to the States, Frank left military service and was employed for a period of time by Volvo Corporation’s Truck Division as a Quality Control Inspector. He re-entered and completed his military service with the 203rd Red Horse unit of the Air Force National Guard at Camp Pendleton, VA, as an AGR TSgt, Heavy Equipment Mechanic. He retired from military service March 31, 1998.
Frank loved to tell jokes and play pranks. He was an avid car enthusiast, enjoyed working in the yard striving for the greenest lawn in the neighborhood, and hosting open garage door conversations with his friends and neighbors.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Cynthia; son Shaun and daughter-in-law Meagan of Virginia Beach, VA; granddaughters Shelby and Lennon; sister Judith of Charlotte, NC; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be greatly missed by his family, fur buddy Remmy, friends and neighbors.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at a later, to-be-determined date, with inurnment to take place at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, VA.
