Obituary for Francis Richard Holmes
Francis "Frank" Richard Holmes , 83, passed away March 16, 2023. Frank was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts to the late Arthur and Maria Vallario Holmes. Frank was also preceded in death by his sister, Sheila Holmes; and brothers, Arthur, Stephen, and John Holmes.
Frank retired from the US Navy after serving over 20 years as an aircraft mechanic. Upon retirement he loved fishing and time spent on the water.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Teresa Holmes; daughters, Lucille Holmes, Donah DeHaven, Stephanie Scott, and Lisa Bryan. He is also survived by his sister, Lucille Sullivan; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Deacon James Nottingham officiating.
