Rene was a wonderful lady in all respects. She was first my boss and then my friend. I worked for her at the Little Creek Library as an Assistant Librarian. When she retired, I became the Librarian that she trained me to be. Rene loved her job and was an outstanding Librarian. She especially loved the parts of her job that related to children. Her Preschool Storytime's were enjoyed by all the children and their parents. The Summer Reading Program that she ran each year were attend by many different children from all walks of life. If a child had any difficulties with anything, Rene would stop whatever she was doing and would help that child. Her patience was limitless when it came to helping little ones. Rene also spoke of her husband Bill and her children too many times to count and I know she loved you all so much. I know she is still looking out for all of you from heaven and I am so very sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences, Tina Henry

Rene was my true friend! My daughter Stacie is married to Tim. We have been friends for over twenty five years. We were like family and always invited to their pool parties, Thanksgiving dinners and any other events I may have forgotten. Rene was always a pleaser and would do anything to help anyone out! She was a very special person and she will always be in my heart. She will truly be missed. She and Bill were married 60 years and were an example of true love. God bless you Rene! No more pain. You are in my thoughts and prayers! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
