Obituary for Evelyn "Evy" Mach Eacker
Evelyn "Evy" Mach Eacker, 90, of Chesapeake Virginia passed away peacefully on July 24, 2023 after a brief illness. She was born in Johnstown, New York and was predeceased by her husband, Harold Eacker, in 2019. Evy entered the work force as a Legal Secretary and worked approximately 30 years until retirement. She and Harold were married for 68 years and spent most of their retirement years traveling to Florida and the Grand Canyon, AZ. They enjoyed attending the Antique Auto Club festivities with their close friends, even though she enjoyed
shopping at the outlet stores while the guys went to the flea markets.
She was a lifelong Elvis Presley fan and collector of dolls.
Evy was admired for her kind and generous nature and will be greatly missed by many.
She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Bailey and Sharon Stevens of Chesapeake Virginia, as well as, many nieces and nephews in New York and Ohio and her sister-n-law,
