Elsie Rose Disharoon, 102, passed away October 29, 2018 at her home. Elsie was born to the late John C. and Mintie Kindley Rose. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband, William O. Disharoon and son, Ronald Dean Disharoon. Elsie was a member of Crossroads Community Church.

She is survived by her sons, Gary S. Disharoon (Mary Sue) and Keith O. Disharoon (Frances); grandchildren, Mark Disharoon (Margaret), Deana DiLeo (John), Shawn Disharoon, Carie Carley (Bill), Gary Dean Disharoon (Marie), Brian Disharoon (Raegan) and Christie Disharoon; 18 great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to Sentara Hospice, Grace Hospice and Visiting Physicians for the loving care they provided.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake with Rev. Woody Wallace officiating. A reception will follow at the funeral home to receive friends and family. At the request of the family in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sentara Hospice or Grace Hospice.
