Elizabeth Hilliard “Betty” Brunsman, 91, passed away at her residence in Chesapeake, VA on May 24, 2020. She was born in Brookeville, MD to the late Claude H. and Margaret Baker Hilliard and also predeceased by her 2 brother. Betty married Edward J. Brunsman on February 12, 1949 in Washington, D.C. who preceded her in death in December of 2015. She worked for WMAL Television for 10 years and later as Property Manager at Biltmore Garden Estates in Asheville, NC. While in Asheville, she even modeled for the Talbots Department Store and worked as a Tour Guide at Biltmore Estates. She had a wonderful life with her family and friends and was a truly devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Margaret Susan Hester (Mabry); son, Carl Brunsman (Phyliss); 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; and a host of other family and friends.
