Obituary for Eileen Rightley Bloor
Eileen Rightley Bloor , 81 entered into her eternal resting place in the arms of Jesus on July 16, 2023. She was born in Trenton, New Jersey and she lived there until 2022.
She recently resided in Moyock, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late George and Catherine Rightley, she was the second born of their four daughters. She is predeceased by her husband James J. Bloor Jr., sister Kathleen Lewis, and sister Sarah Rightley.
Eileen attended Hamilton High School East where she met her husband James in her junior year. She went on to work for the State of New Jersey where she retired in 1998.
She also had her real estate license for several years and worked through out Hamilton Square, NJ selling new construction. She loved the beach, warm balmy nights, and Hilton Head Island. She was a strong, independent woman with a wonderful smile.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children Karen Hites (John), Debra Wereski (Gregory) and Dr. James Bloor (Michele). Her grandchildren Christina, Brittany, Jacqueline, Michael, Matthew, Marcus, Caden and Jason, and her sister Maureen D' Amelio (John). She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. She will be dearly missed by all that loved and knew her.
Her life will be celebrated in Chesapeake, VA and New Jersey. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on August 20, 2023 at Hickory Ridge Church, 3320 Battlefield Blvd., Chesapeake, VA 23322 at 1PM. Flowers will be accepted on August 19th and 20th. The second Celebration of Life will be held in New Jersey on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 19 Horseshoe Lane, Mullica Hill, NJ 08062 from 11-4PM.
