Obituary for Don Curtis Beck

Don Curtis Beck, 62, from Chesapeake, VA, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25th at Maryview Hospital.
Don was predeceased by his parents, Raymond Dewey Beck and Ruth Elizabeth Dawley Beck and his oldest brother, David Ray Beck. He is survived by his brother, George Stanley Beck of Chesapeake.
Don was one of the first diagnosed with PKU, (Phenylketonuria) at Norfolk General Hospital. He lived most of his life in Suffolk, VA. He graduated from Forest Glen High School from their special needs program. After his parents passed away, he was placed in the care of Phoenix-N-Peace, Inc. New Haven, group home in Petersburg, Va until recently.
He loved the Blue Angels with a passion. One of his favorite cartoons was The Flintstones.
Special thanks to Ms. Newby, Vickii Vquick, Andrea Hicks and Angela Robertson for the love and care in every area of Don’s needs. We are so grateful.
He will be interned at Riverside Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.
