Obituary for Claude Rayford Lovelace
Claude R. Lovelace, age 83, of Norfolk, VA passed away April 22, 2021. Claude was born to the late Elbert and Mabel Lovelace of Norfolk, VA. Besides his parents he was pre-deceased by his loving wife of 60 years, Lucy Lovelace.
An Air Force Veteran during the Cold War, Claude was also a custom homebuilder and a framing contractor for many years. He was an avid collector and will be dearly missed by his many friends and acquaintances. Claude was always helpful and charitable to everyone he met. He was quick with a joke and a smile and simply a pleasure to know and love.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving son, Ronald Lovelace (Elizabeth); daughter, Renee Geisler (Robert); grandchildren, Jennifer and William; 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
