Chief Dr. Olugbenga Soga Oredein Sr. transitioned on January 24th, 2023. He was born in 1945 in Irolu-Remo, Nigeria, Ogun State, the first child of Gabriel Bunkun-Olami Oredein and Sabainah Olutayo Kawonuse Awosonya-Oredein (nee: Awodipe). He is survived by his five children, Pia Oredein, Dr. Tyree Oredein, Dr. Olugbemisola (Michael) McCoy, Dr. Oluwatomisin Oredein, and Olugbenga (Sadine) Oredein Jr., and three grandchildren Olukayode, Morayo, and Emiola. His late wife was Chief Mrs. Iyabo Olayinka Oredein. He loved to serve others. Whether to his family, friends, patients, or community in the US or abroad, his love, devotion, and generosity shone bright. He was a proud father, loving grandfather, passionate husband, and caring physician. He delivered thousands of children and his impact on the world both professionally and personally is everlasting. He lived for his grandchildren and overflowed with pride for all of his children, nieces, and nephews. They are his legacy.
