Catherine Ann Travers Tatem passed away on May 9, 2021, at the age of 77. She was born to the late James R. and Theresa Jamison Travers. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Marshall W. Tatem, sister, Alice Marcum, and nephew, William "Billy" McCarron. Ann had retired as the bookkeeper from the family business, Churchland Hardware and Great Bridge Hardware. She was a longtime member of South Norfolk Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Terry Tatem Ishii (Greg), Debbie Tatem Smith (Charlie), and Bubba Tatem (Becky); grandchildren, Samantha, Krystal, Brittany, and Brandon. She is also survived by her nephews and nieces, Bud McCarron (Mary), Theresa Kendrick (Coley), Mary Alice Jordan, Ann Shaw (Joe), George Winborne (Andrew), and very special friend, Robbin Anderson.
