Carrie Elizabeth Groff, 68, passed away March 18, 2023. Carrie was born to the late James and Mary McDilda Peel. Carrie was a woman of various interests. A wife, a mother and grandmother. A compassionate person, Carrie nurtured numerous children over the years. She enjoyed several jobs to occupy time due to military transfers. Through the various stages of life she enjoyed bowling, fishing, attending various auto racing events, and riding with her husband on their Harley. There is so much more to Carrie and the life she lived. She will be missed by many.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Anthony Joseph Groff, Sr.; children, Joyce Ann Burton, Anthony Groff, Jr (Andrea), and Jamie Talevich (Mike); grandchildren, Alexandria Burton, MerriKathryn Robbins, Timothy Groff, James Groff, Jazmyn Robbins, Stephany Groff, Jerry Groff, Elizabeth Talevich, and Aleczander Talevich; and a host of other family and friends

A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 4:00 pm at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Rd. Chesapeake, VA 23320. The family will receive friends the hour prior.
