Obituary for Carl Edward Goin
Carl Edward Goin went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2020 at the age of 59. He was born in Norfolk, VA to the late, Glenn Aron Goin and Beulah Benford Shifflet Goin. Carl worked for Virginia Beach Public Schools maintaining the school grounds. He loved his cats (kids he called them), gardening, fishing, football, NASCAR and word search puzzles. He was a great handyman but most of all, he loved helping others and making everyone around him laugh.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Trece Wise; 4 adult children; several grandchildren, brothers and sisters; 3 adult step-children; step-grandchildren; brother-in-law and sister-in-law and numerous other loving family and friends.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at Agape Ministries Church, 4227 Bainbridge Blvd., Chesapeake, VA, 23324 on September 14, 2020 at 7pm with a reception following. In lieu of flowers, cards with donations may be given to the family to help support Carl's Cat Fund.
