Obituary for Anthony Wayne Tolbert
Anthony Wayne Tolbert, 66, passed away July 13, 2022. Anthony was born in Portsmouth, VA to the late Wylie Scott and Bettie Sue Tolbert. Anthony was predeceased by his son, Anthony Wayne Tolbert Jr.
Anthony was a brickmason for over 30 years. He loved fishing, hunting, and was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins, NASCAR racing, women's softball, and wrestling. Anthony's favorite sport was horseshoes, and he loved the old classic country songs. He was also a member of Rivercrest Christian Fellowship.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 46 years, Cheryl; Children, Christopher Tolbert, Bettie Sue Worrell (James), Amanda Hernandez (Antonio); Grandchildren, Virginia, Faith, Emma, Addie, Isabell, and Kendell; Sisters, Sidney (Larry), Jeannies Sue, Minnie Sue; Brothers, Scoot (Deborah), Jerry (Sherry), Jimmie (Barbara), Richard (Lois); and many family and friends. Family meant everything to him.
