Amy Ellen Rogers of Knotts Island NC, aged 60, passed away January 25, 2021. She is survived by James F. Rogers her husband of 40 years; her children, Rebecca Rogers (wife, Amy G. Rogers), Margaret Pickles (husband, Nathanial Pickles) and William Rogers (wife, Jennifer Rogers). She was predeceased by her mother, Betty Joyce Kelly; father, William Johnson; stepmother, Beverly Johnson; brother, Samuel Johnson; and sister, Phyllis Haynes Flynn. Also surviving are her brother, David Jonson; sisters, Jeanne Kelly and Julia Hannah; sisters, Gail Ramsey Crook, Terry Haynes Kendrick, Angela Prout; and six grandchildren. Amy was a 1978 graduate of Kempsville High School in Virginia Beach and attended Old Dominion University.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 3pm at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Rd. in Chesapeake VA. Please honor the COVID restrictions should you attend with temperature checks and masks being required to enter building.
