CHESAPEAKE – Beatrice Narron Johnson, 87, of the 600 block of River Walk Parkway went to be with the Lord August 30, 2010 in Virginia Beach. A native of Johnson County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Nellie Narron and wife of the late Henry Ford Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Faye J. Kelly and husband Michael and Sandra M. Wells and husband Edwin; one son, Henry Ray Johnson; six grandchildren, Delane Cartwright and husband Danny, Steve Johnson and wife Bobbie Jo, Brian Kelly and wife Deborah Joy, Deborah Faye Kelly, Wendy M. Kerr and husband Paul and Dawn M. Woods and husband Donnie; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Erdeen Eastmon, Pauline Maiden and Frances Parker and husband Bobby.
A funeral service will be held Friday, September 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, with Pastor R.N. Heath and Jonathan Carpenter, officiating. Entombment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00-8:00.
