Maria Borja Ventura, 83 passed away January 21, 2015. She was born in the Phillipines to the late, Tomas and Virginia Caparas Borja and was the loving wife of the late, Juan M. Ventura. Maria was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was a retired Public School Teacher in the Phillipines.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Anna Marie Jones, Noemi Terwel, Chito Ventura, Zaldy Ventura and Sammy Ventura; five grandchildren and numerous other family in the United States and the Phillipines.

The Holy Rosary will be said Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 6 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Friday, January 30, 2015 at 12 noon at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1396 Lynnhaven Parkway, Virginia Beach by Rev. Timothy M. Kuhneman.
