CHESAPEAKE- Sarah Mae Sanders, 80, passed away September 14, 2014. She was born in Bedford, VA to the late Charlie and Emma Bond. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Virginia Beach and worked at Walmart for 15 years where she was known as “Mama Sarah”.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Willie Sanders, Cynthia Butler and Chemere Sanders; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11am at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Virginia Beach with Pastor Jason Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6-7:30pm.
