Condolence From: Terry Putman
Condolence: Dear Family, My last memories of Terri are at GBH Ring Dance 2012. As always, her concern was that everything involving the receiving of junior rings be perfect for the students she truly served through her profession. It was always a pleasure for me to see her both professionally and personally. Over the years, she was so eager to help in making the special events for our students be just that. I have called on her in the past for special favors for students that may have needed last minute help and she always did everything in her power to go the extra mile. She gave her positive energy to all she did. I will miss working with her so much. My sympathy to her children and grandchildren. Terry Putman Media specialist GBHS

Condolence: We have enjoyed viewing the pictures of Terri and her family. Although we lost touch over the years we have fond memories of our high school and college days with Terri. We have reminisced this past week about the role Terri played in our being together. I have remebered the time spent at the Mills home as well. We can still hear her laugh and it brings such a smile to us. What a beautiful life and legacy. Thanks Terri for for some wonderful memories and the part you played in our lives.

Condolence From: Stephanie Rayfield
Condolence: Terry was a part of my professional life for over 30 years. I met her at John Yeates when it was a high school. She was expecting her first child and so excited she would name him Chase. (We both loved Falcon Crest...the show). When I came to Deep Creek High School she made my life so easy as I sponsored ten graduating classes. The Josten's and then the Balfour lady was always full of energy and kindness. She frequently donated needed funds and items for the students. She started as a PE teacher from VaTech and she will always be a beloved Mom, Hokie and teacher in my heart. Her life here was short, but her legacy is long. I am thankful for the time I knew her.

Condolence: To an amazing family..we send our thoughts and prayers. What a strong and loving mother you were blessed with. She was such a giving person....When Terri believed in somthing... she fought for it. She wouldn't hesitate to help others out... I know this personally, with her unselfishness and loving support she made a very tough time for our family a little easier. I was just thanking her for that just a couple weeks ago... her response "I was so happy to do it" Her passing is a loss for so many people. Her bright smile will be missed by everyone. Sending our love at this very tough time.
